To Our Members

The volunteers of Frenchman’s Bay Squadron have offered over 60 years of serving the boating public. It is my pleasure to lead a squadron with such a long history dedicated to achieving the goals of CPS:

“To increase awareness and knowledge of safe boating:

Our squadron has conducted many classroom courses offered by excellent instructors. We are now considering options beyond traditional classroom delivery, including on-water practical training, and of course on-line education. These are exciting times in boating education.

CPS members have always been very friendly, and I admire their dedication and willingness to help others.

Your contributions in achieving the CPS objectives do not have to be great to be appreciated, every little bit helps. Maintaining annual memberships in CPS allows our volunteers to do what they like best. Thank you for being part of CPS, and thank you for annual renewals!

We would like to hear from you should you have an idea or ideas on how to improve our services, our course offerings and or if you would like to participate in our bridge meetings as a member or an observer. Take another course, or offer to assist in a course you have already taken. Help out at an event like a Flare Recovery day, or the Tall Ships Parade of Sail, or at a safety presentation held at a local marina or yacht club, or by conducting Recreational Vessel Courtesy Checks. We value and appreciate any time you have to contribute.

I encourage you to share your stories, your ideas, your thoughts, and if you can please, a little of your spare time, to further the CPS objectives. I can be reached at: Craig.Chevalier@fbps.ca and for all you that have given already, Thank You!

Regards,

Craig Chevalier, Commander
