Frenchman's Bay Power & Sail SquadronServing Pickering, Scarborough and surrounding area,Promoting Safe Boating Through Education |
Frenchman’s Bay Power & Sail Squadron's inception was October 31, 1959. We are based in Pickering and named after Frenchman’s Bay. The group from time to time hold events and offer training classes at Frenchman's Bay Marina a close neighbour. The squadron has been dedicated to instruction of safe boating courses to all pleasure craft operators in the Pickering/Scarborough and surrounding areas.
Our Squadron was founded over 40 years ago. We have a dedicated following of members that rank in the hundreds, who represent boaters and their families from the York East District of CPS-ECP. Frenchman's Bay Squadron has one of the largest and most successful training programs in Canada. This is the result of a tremendous amount of time and effort put forth by a group of dedicated volunteers over the years. These volunteers have given freely of their time and talents to further the goals of the CPS and promote safe boating.
